Functions of Access Control and Time Attendance |

SMX-FP200
is used for both access control and time
attendance application with an application
software provided.
|

The
Access Control is to control the employees from
accessing the business premises by locking and
unlocking the door. You can define the
authorized time for each individual or for a group
of individuals and can specify which has the
rights to access a particular terminal in a
multi-device environment, where multiple doors are
controlled by different devices.

The
Time Attendance is to record the Check-In /
Check-Out time of the employees and totally
eliminates the buddy-punching problems and other
frauds.

Stand-alone
or Networked Operation (RS-422 or TCP/IP)

SMX-FP200
can be used as not only a Stand-alone
System without a dedicated PC or
PC-controlled system in a single device
environment, but also a Network System
communicating via RS-422 (addressable up to
32 devices) or TCP/IP protocol in a
multi-device environment. All control setting values
such as RFID, fingerprints data, Input and output
configurations, real time clock and time schedule
can be downloaded/uploaded from/to the host computer
and all event transaction data stored in the buffer
reports to the host computer.

proximity reader and keypad give you three
choice of access mode in a combination of

can program related output sources and activating

can define 8 time Zone (up to 3 time schedule per
Zone) for each individual or a group of
individuals.

When
power is on, an internal self-diagnostic routine
checks and verifies the setup configuration and
initializes the device's operation.

Whenever
the device in operation is broken up or detached
from the wall by force, it generates alarm-state
outputs. The alarm state is cancelled as the
controller reads an registered card or the Master
card, or when the host computer asks.
